Orcish war leader Gurth and Budd, his human hunter mate, have come along way from their first primal, lustful encounter in the dark forest. Generous Gurth has acquainted versatile Budd with hard use he never experienced in human lands. He shared Budd’s warm body with those who stood in solidarity with their partnership. Those who stood against them were slain.

Their biggest trials are yet to come.

As the pair descend the mountain pass and enter Orcish territory, not even Gurth is certain how a human mate will be received by his tribe. Such a break with tradition is unheard of. A free human has never entered the western outpost. To venture further, Budd must take on the guise of a human slave. Gurth finds no shortage of sadistic pleasure in the act of master. His public displays of dominance expand adventurous Budd’s ideas of submission and pleasure, further solidifying their bond.

The goal is clear: to seal their union, the final rite of Gul’Darak must be initiated. In order to do so, Gurth must attain the blessing of four of his dearest friends and oldest allies. Gurth’s shapeshifter worg companion Jirrak and his first friend Kuroth have already partaken of Budd and granted their blessing. That leaves Grug and Krug, both of whom are men of specific tastes who are not easy to please. Gurth counts on the love of his friends and their legendary shared history to preserve him, even if Budd fails to please them as they desire.

Assuming approval is gained, Budd must be chained to the ritual altar and brutally used by the many thousands of members of the Orcish tribe. This rite will take as many days and sleepless nights as it needs to. Gurth must simultaneously fight all who object to their union in single combat. Treachery abounds. If both Gurth and Budd survive this onslaught, Gurth will brand Budd in fire, sealing Budd as his own and initiating the human into the tribe.

Back across the mountains, the human armies rally to continue the endless circle of retribution. They march on Orcish territory at an alarming rate, ensuring an explosive climax that will change the face of the world and mark the beginning of a new era.
